Lucky2Bhere is all about saving lives. We do this by raising funds to place defibrillators in rural areas and train local people too use them. For example, our first unit was installed and staff trained at the Clubhouse.
As we are getting a clearer vision of where we go with L2BH, our objectives come under three main headings
1 Empowering communities to manage their own situations from the time a life threatening incident arises until the medical professionals arrive.
2 Cooperation with the emergency services, major charities, commercial businesses, and political groups, so that defibrillators and people trained to use them are widely available
3 Training of all secondary school pupils in Scotland in basic life saving techniques as part of the school curiculum aligned with lifestyle training in diet and exercise.
If your community hall, school, village etc would like a defib and the assosiated training, just let us know. Contact Ross Cowie on 01478 613467/07884298079 or through the website
